If you’d like to head further afield, why not take the train to Knaresborough and have a wander along the river taking in its amazing views or visit the medieval city of York, all are perfect for young and old alike.

Yorkshire prides itself on its food and drink, and the Harrogate District personifies this, from Slingsby’s gin (a must try) to Betty’s wonderful cakes, the restaurants love to use locally sourced produce and are proud of this.
